Ordering & Manufacturing Update #2

Hello Backers,

Another 2 weeks have passed! Below are some more updates. 

METAL COMPONENTS FOR ELITE EDITION

We do have some unfortunate news regarding part of our metal dice and meeple order. We received a partial order (at our request) from our supplier's existing stock but the remainder of the order (that had to be ordered) may take another 30 days to be processed and shipped. Our supplier has informed us that the facility from which they source their metal components was subject to environmental testing (they passed) which is delaying the rest of our order. 

We will keep all of you updated! 

In prior campaigns we shipped pledges when we could. Some backer pledges that were waiting on components were frustrated that others had received their games but not them. Therefore, out of fairness to all backers, we will not be shipping any pledges until all pledges can be shipped.

ORDER UPDATE

-Ceramic tokens have been ordered! They are expected to arrive next week!

-The custom dice for the DEFCON edition are set to be complete on Monday. We are hoping to receive them by the end of next week or the week after.

MANUFACTURING UPDATE

-All Basic Edition tins are COMPLETE!

-100% of DEFCON Edition tins have had their stickers applied! We are waiting on the custom dice before we build the games.

-100% of the Lenticular score trackers and cubes have been bagged!

Ordering and Manufacturing Update #1

Hello Backers,

We are going to try to keep you updated on progress every two weeks or so. This is a fun update because we have started the Manufacturing process!

ORDER UPDATE

-All product ordered has arrived other than the metal dice, metal meeples, and custom dice.

-Ceramic tokens are still on back-order so we have not ordered them yet. Once the metal components arrive and we feel confident of pledge shipping dimensions we will order the shipping boxes, packing paper and packing tape.

MANUFACTURING UPDATE

-All Basic Edition tins have had their stickers applied!

-25% of DEFCON Edition tins have had their stickers applied!

***Once all of the stickers have been applied we will start filling the tins with components.***

- Amanda (Chris' Wife) is putting all of the lenticular score trackers and cubes into baggies. She's about 25% done.

OTHER GAMES

As mentioned in our previous update, Chris will be travelling to NH to pick up the Elements and Brace for Impact! raw materials near the end of July. When he returns he will have to manufacture those games as well.

A Quick Order Update

Hello backers,

Just a quick update from us regarding order progress. We have ordered everything we need to manufacture 11:59 other than the ceramic tokens and the shipping materials.

1.) Metal warheads, metal bunkers, standard dice, Decon containers, tin stickers, glow in dark Fallout tokens, thermal printer, thermal labels, gems and lenticular score trackers have all arrived.

2.) We are waiting for the metal dice, custom dice, metal meeples, custom meeples, standard meeples, chevrons, wooden & metal cubes, rules cards, acrylic tokens, rockets and playmats to arrive.

All of the members of Rampage Games live in different states and countries, and our original headquarters (in New Hampshire) is currently housing all of the Brace for Impact! and Elements raw materials. This means that we need to transport these materials, so Chris is travelling back to New Hampshire from Kansas near the end of July to pick all of it up. Hopefully by then all of the components will be in (including the back-ordered ceramic tokens) and we can start the manufacturing process but there are still a lot of variables in play, so we can't guarantee anything.

Locking BackerKit Surveys and order progress

Hello Backers,

A quick reminder that surveys close tonight. If you do not get them in, well, get them in! We were able to order the playmats, so that's another component order off the list! Some updates below on other components:

1.) Tin stickers and lenticular score trackers have arrived.

2.) One of our supplier's checkout system isn't calculating our custom meeple order properly so we are waiting for it to get fixed. Once it is fixed we will order the DEFCON edition custom meeples. 

3.) One of our suppliers doesn't have the required amount of dice we need in stock for the basic edition. We are therefore upgrading dice quality (we are going to order from Chessex) however the dice will now be 12mm rather than 14mm. We can't really tell the difference and the dice feel much better. We hope you agree with our decision.

4.) The supplier with the check-out system problem is also the supplier of the cubes, chevrons, rockets, standard meeples, and rules cards. So all those components are on standby.

5.) Gems will be ordered in the next few days.

6.) Shipping materials will be ordered once we've manufactured a few games and figure out the best box dimensions to use.

7.) The ceramic token raw materials are on back-order. They should be back in stock within the next month or two and we will be able to order them then.

BackerKit Survey DEADLINE!

Hello Backers,

This is another important update that every backer should read.

SURVEYS

The deadline for BackerKit Surveys is Thursday, June 6th***. If you do not have your survey completed by then, YOU MAY NOT RECEIVE YOUR ADD-ONS. 

***You will be able to change your address right up until we start shipping***

We aren't buying a lot of extra materials to fulfill this campaign. We can only guarantee that you will receive your pledge level if you don't fill out your survey. If you added anything extra and didn't complete your survey before we ordered all the materials, we might run out of our reserves, and it could be a VERY LONG TIME before you receive your add-ons, and we aren't going to duplicate shipping for free. 

Also note that if you do not get your surveys in on time, we will ship your rewards after every other Kickstarter backer and pre-order backer.

My advice? Get in your surveys!
